This course uses a blended/task-based approach to teach how to write an effective article/thesis in science and engineering. In this course, students will be guided through the process of writing, with an emphasis on the use of professional technical and scientific language. The students will be able to describe the results in sufficient details to establish their validity; identify new and various aspects of the results, as well as identify the significance of the results: improvements and impact they suggest. They will also learn stylistic conventions that make it possible to achieve precision and conciseness. Students will acquire knowledge on publishing in English-language journals.
