Students acquire understanding of open research data initiatives and their use for the development of science, learn about the EU, other international, national and institutional funding requirements. Students learn to manage research data, make them visible, accessible and reusable, develop a research data management plan, review and modify it in line with the requirements of funding institutions. Students learn about legal and ethical requirements of using research data, about the variety of data repositories and their capacities for storing research data.
