Includes: energy sources and fuel types in modern applications, Modern motor types, exhaust treatment systems, HVAC systems, heat balance and heat recovery systems, energy efficiency, electric systems, fire safety equipment, selected topics on special ship systems (e.g. arctic/sub-arctic conditions). <br /><b>Marine traffic systems:</b> <br />Communication and IT equipment, Internet and ship traffic systems, Satellite communication with marine applications, Environmental impact and legislation.</p>
