Innovation in Operations D

<p>The course is built around a number of real-life innovative solutions in operations and services. These solutions are presented by invited guest lecturers from industry and research groups. The students are this way - in class - taken to the cutting-edge of practice by the guest lecturer and challenged to address a current innovation problem. In doing so, the students will propose a real-life innovative solution.<br />Students will in groups work on one specific innovation problem, and evaluate solution proposals to all others presented in the course. Both solution and evaluation activities are conducted in a group. In class, innovation management theory is introduced and discussed in the context of the innovation problems and solution proposals.<br />An individual concluding assignment allow students to synthesize and reflect on the full course work.</p>
