Strategic Management of Technology and Innovation D

<p>As the name states, the course is about strategic management of technology and innovation. It is not about individual technologies as such and takes a broad perspective to technology beyond digitalisation, including, for example, health and energy related technologies. Regarding innovation, course not only covers the ways how firms can profit and capture value, but also explores the concept of open innovation and ways of leveraging external sources. Relatedly, platform economy and its implications to strategic management of technology and innovation are studied extensively. Finally, while the dominating perspective on the course is the performance of a firm, the societal aspect and impacts for sustainability form an important part of the course.</p>
