<p>The course gives a theoretical and practical overview of mapping processes including establishment of the coordinate frame, data acquisition, data processing, 3D models of the environment, and map design and compilation. In the process, geodetic, photogrammetric, laser scanning and cartographic methods are applied. Mapping processes are discussed also from data policy points of view.</p>
