<p>This course provides a comprehensive exploration of the principles, techniques, and applications of cell engineering for small molecule and protein production. Genetic engineering methodologies as well as other techniques to modify cellular behavior will be delved into, and characteristics of host cells analyzed. Future directions of the field will be discussed, and challenges and opportunities anticipated.</p>
